Our comprehensive mobile banking app was designed with credit union members in mind. It combines all of the essential tools you need such as account management, bill payment, budgeting tools and mobile deposit into one secure package.

What You Get With This Credit Union Mobile App

The app has a full range of digital banking features that take care of almost anything you would expect from a bank. Use your phone’s camera to deposit checks and do transactions and see account balances, check transaction history, pay bills and transfer funds. With spending prediction and budgeting tool, you can prepare a budget and stick to it. Doing so will monitor the spending of the users. Similarly, you can make budgets according to theme or personal preferences. Through the app, TDECU credit card users can manage their credit card on the app make travel notifications, view mortgage information, and locate branches and surcharge-free ATMs.

Fingerprint logins on compatible devices can be biometric authentication; it is great to access without typing your password over and over. Members are able to connect with TDECU staff through secure messaging through the app. Quicken and QuickBooks integration is offered for the members using those apps. You may also access e-statements and view cleared check images through the desktop.

While the feature set for credit union members is reasonably good, there are some limitations. Access to mobile check deposit can depend on your account eligibility so not everyone will have access immediately. Only the newer devices come equipped with biometric hardware, so older phones don’t support fingerprint login. The app needs a working internet connection for all its functions. This means that it does not work offline.

According to users there are some technical problems and service outages. Some community members are facing issues which are preventing them from accessing banking features at the moment. But is this the right fit for everyone? TDECU members with an Android 11 device or later, who are eligible for features like mobile check deposit, can use the app to access their credit union account and manage their finances with plenty of useful features. It won’t have the sophisticated analytics or investment tools that you might find in national banking apps; however, for regional credit union members wanting to do everyday banking — check balances, pay bills, deposit checks and check budgets — it does these things well. If you are not a member of TDECU’s system, you will not find value here because you must enroll.
