Installing Games and Apps

Use the following steps to install the APK downloaded at APKFlare.com.

Step 1: Enable Unknown Sources

To install APK files, you have to allow app installation from unknown sources.

Android 8.0 and above

• Go to Settings > Apps & notifications.
• Tap Advanced > Special app access.
• Tap Install unknown apps.
• Select your browser or file manager.
• Enable “Allow from this source”.

Android 7.0 and below

• Go to Settings > Security.
• Enable “Unknown sources”.
• Tap OK to confirm.

Step 2: Find the file that has been downloaded

• Open your file manager or Downloads folder.
• Look for the APK file you have downloaded (it bears a .apk extension).
• The file is usually in the “Downloads” folder.

Step 3: Install the APK

• Tap on the APK file.
• Tap “Install” when prompted.
• Wait for the installation to complete.
• Tap “Open” to launch the app, or “Done” to finish.

Important Notes

• Make sure you have enough storage space before installing.
• Some apps may need extra permissions when installed.
• Once installed, you can turn off Unknown sources.

Troubleshooting

• If installation fails, try redownloading the APK file.
• Make sure the APK is compatible with your Android version.
• Check if you have enough free space on your device.
